Pinky Doll Freebie Progressive

The May Freebie Progressive challenge at The OutLawz is sponsored by Pinky Dolls!

I used a Paper Studio embossing folder, a Spellbinders die and lace and a button brad that was in some yardsale goodies. Sweet and simple!

Anything Goes at Twisted Thursday!

This week at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday, our theme is the regular Anything Goes With a Twist and this weeks twist is...Anything Goes!  We are sponsored this week by

I used the freebie from The Outlawz Freebie Progressive Challenge, sponsored by Pinky Dolls to make my card.

I think she is really cute!  The embossing folder is from Darice, the ribbon and the wreath brad were in a box of stuff I bought at a yardsale.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll join us this week!

A Flower For You

It's Thursday again and we have another a new challenge at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday!  We are sponsored this week by

Challenges in our Twisted Thursday group are always Anything Goes with an Optional twist!  This week the twist is "Your Favorite Color".

I went for a color combination and Pink and Green is one of my faves.

This image is one I colored a LONG time ago, like when I first got my Spectrum Noir markers! He's been on my work table just waiting for me to use him.  I'm still looking to see where this digi is from.  I'll update the post with that when I find it.  ***Update** I found the image file and it's called "Soooo Big", but I don't know who it's from!

The embossing folder I used on the background came free with a magazine and the one I used on the green matte is from Cuttlebug and looks like lattice. Not much of it shows now!
I have to tell you about the pink background......it's the cardboard packaging from one of those laundry bags for your bras!  You can barely see it in this picture, but it has the prettiest darker pink vine swirled all over it.  I just had to save it and use it!  LOL

Anyway, thanks for stopping by to visit and please come join us over at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday!!!

Kaylee's 8th Grade Graduation

We have a new challenge at My Sheri Crafts today and Glenda has challenged us with "It's Graduation Day - Make a graduation or school related card or project."  I made a layout of my granddaughter's 8th grade graduation (although the school now says we have to call it 'promotion' not graduation!).

Leaving Jr. High for the last time as an 8th grader

All cuts are from Cricut and I used black twine and gold twine on the banner.  Thanks for stopping by and checking out my project.  Come on over the My Sheri Crafts now and check out all the awesomeness there!

Flowers For Her

OOPS!  I failed to get my post for Tuesday Throwdown up yesterday!  This week we are sponsored by Robyn's Fetishand our theme is "Flowers For Her".

I've used our sponsor image "Spring Cart_ for my card.

The background cut is a Silouhette cut file.  The herringbone paper is from The Paper Studio.  One advantage of being stuck in my recliner lately is that I've watched some videos for tying bows, so I finally learned how to make this double bow!

I hope you'll join us for this fin, easy theme this week! Thanks for dropping by!

Birthday card with Coordinating Envelope

This week at My Sheri Crafts, Marge has chosen "Create a birthday card & coordinating envelope" for our theme.  I love making a matching/coordinating envelope, I just don't seem to take the time to do it very often!

I made a quick Birthday card with an image I had colored quite some time back.  It's from Designed To Delight.  I colored it with colored pencils and used a piece of ribbon from a spool I've had for years.  The bottom of the card is embossed and I used the same folder to emboss the flap of the envelope.  It's hard to see, but I promise it's there!

I know this card is pretty basic and very CAS, but it was actually the first one I made the day I finally got back into my craft room after surgery (even though others have been posted here in front of this one). I really liked how it turned out, so I went with it!

Come on over and join us at My Sheri Crafts!
